PDCM Insurance Announces New Wellness Professional

PDCM Strengthens Its Integrated Approach to Managing Property/Casualty and Employee Benefits Risks

WATERLOO, Iowa—PDCM Insurance Inc., one of Iowa’s leading independent insurance agencies and group benefits firms, is proud to announce the addition of Liz Dejoode as a wellness consultant within the employee work-site wellness division. Dejoode is joining PDCM after coordinating and implementing wellness and occupational health programs for UnityPoint Health – Allen Hospital’s Occupational Health Services.

Dejoode will work with Maria Drees, a health promotion and wellness consultant for PDCM, to implement on-site employee wellness throughout northeast Iowa, through PDCM’s “EMPower” wellness program.

PDCM’s “EMPower” wellness program is designed to help employees avoid job-site injuries and workers’ compensation and health insurance claims by improving employees’ health through customized, on-site wellness training. Dejoode’s experience with occupational wellness will allow PDCM to strengthen its ability to identify and prevent avoidable work-site injuries.
